There is something that calls out to me when I see the name “A.W. Tozer” on a book cover. It could be the writing. It might be the poetry. Perhaps, the inspirations. What I believe it is that calls me, though, is the voice of grace. The voice of hope. The voice of love that can only be heard when you’re seeking a more intimate relationship with this man named Jesus.
A.W. Tozer is a light from God’s candle. He shines bright through the fiercest darkness. He speaks grace to the shadows. He inspires as he reveals the music of prayer and praise and unending grace. He is, like David, a man after God’s own heart. He is wise beyond the word and compels me to listen to his powerful words. Words that come from the One who bought him with the price paid at calvary, when love set every believer free.
